HeadSoft Presents

Carnivore BASIC

A modern Commodore-descended BASIC system with a live compile policy, broad host access, graphics, devices, objects, namespaces, and a serious runtime underneath. Try the browser beta now, then move to native builds as they arrive.

What It Is

Commodore Spirit

Carnivore preserves the old machine feel where that still matters: direct mode, device-driven I/O, PETSCII-aware text, graphics modes, and familiar BASIC structure.

Modern Runtime

Under the surface it is not frozen in 1985. Carnivore adds namespaces, objects, host adapters, compile policies, broader devices, and a runtime that can target more than one host.

Live Project

This is an active system, not an archival novelty. The browser beta is the easiest way to see it evolve while desktop and other ports are prepared.

Try It Or Download It

Browser Beta

No install required. Open the beta page and run Carnivore in your browser as the first public web host.

Go to beta testing

Windows

The native Windows build will be offered here once the package is ready. Until then, the web beta is the public test surface.

Docs

The manuals are being tightened so the public site can host the authoritative Carnivore reference and guides.
